The power of the pen.

It all began with a travel journal. By itself the journal is a wonderfully illustrated documentation of a 1919 road trip in a 1916 Studebaker Touring Car. Behind the details of the trip is a fascinating history of the family. Their history includes the founding of New Amsterdam (NYC), military service dating back to the revolution, wealth, scandal and a peek into the privileged life in early 20th century New York.
